A new novella called This Mortal Coil, written by Jasmine Walls (The Traitor & The Wretch, MIDST: The Valorous Farmer) and illustrated by Marie Enger (DEATH TO THE WIZARD KINGS and CASKET LAND), is set to be published on July 31st from Bonedust Press.

Outliving an evil wizard would have been great for anyone other than an animated skeleton. Now they're stuck on a quest with a judgmental talking sword to find a decent wizard who can break the spell binding them to this mortal coil, once and for all.

In this dark, treacherous, fairytale-esque world, Marrow and Kingslayer will encounter murderous witches, cursed beings, and tortured ghosts as they shamble along on a journey that will either set them free or destroy them both.

This is a PRE-ORDER of the paperback book. The book will be released in July, 2026.

This Mortal Coil isn't the only item available for pre-order. Bonedust Press is collaborating with BenoitRC to include a limited edition paper miniature of Marrow and Kinglsayer

These limited pre-orders will include a small Marrow (about 2 inches tall) with magnetic* joints, Kingslayer the broken blade, and a dungeon floor tile stand. Each miniature will be cut and assembled by us.

There will only be 75 of these miniatures available to order. Due to shipping costs, they will only be available within the U.S.
