Description: Cosmic Cicada is the epic fantasy story of guitar virtuoso Cassidy Cosmic and her rock band 'The Ice-cream Nebula' as they embark on a quest for Stardom In a world ruled by evil mega corporations, monstrous dictators and unimaginable eldritch entities who stand in direct opposition of that dream. No one said taking over the world would be easy
‘Cosmic Cicada is my thesis statement about humanity and the ultimate playground for me to explore my favourite things; namely epic, sprawling fantasy worlds, the power of music, cosmic horror and a whole lot of ass kickin’
It follows charismatic, larger-than-life heroes who will stop at nothing to assert their sense of self against a world of injustice and absolute, crushing authoritarianism.
To put it briefly, it's a story about changing the world through the power of music and a little bit of love.’ - Rivenis

About Rivenis
Hey there! My name is Rivenis, and I make long-form, narratively driven webcomics.
Currently, I'm working on Cosmic Cicada, the epic fantasy story of guitar virtuoso Cassidy Cosmic and her rock band 'The Ice-cream Nebula' as they embark on a quest for Stardom In a world ruled by evil mega corporations, monstrous dictators, and unimaginable eldritch entities who stand in direct opposition of that dream. No one said taking over the world with rock'n' roll would be easy
My work is entirely funded through Patreon. This site functions as a production diary for all of my work.
