Description: Connie is an introverted goth kid going through a rocky high school era, with bullies and expectations aplenty. So Connie is ecstatic when she accidentally summons an eldritch Eel god to Earth, but finds that the Eel would rather help her with the bullies and real-life issues than drive men mad with but a glance. Connie and Eel begin to navigate the horrors of real life, while a shadow from Connie's past dogs her steps and threatens to destroy her world.
After delving deep into eldritch horror and just horror in general, Curse of the Eel is my take on the horror genre with a long form story, stronger character arcs, and moments of joy and sadness all baked into a horror filled body. - Jorge
About Jorge Santiago Jr
I draw comics to live! I'm the artist and co-creator on the Ringo Award-nominated comic series Spencer & Locke, and Curse of the Eel is one of a few comics I write and draw myself! In addition to Eel, I also have an all-ages D&D-ish fantasy comic "Rare Drops" as well as a comic-bending mystery story called "Requiem Sonata."
